Rainbows for Revenue: Big Tech Company Changes Logo for Pride Month

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - June is here, and that means one thing in the corporate world: it's time to trade in our monochrome logo for a brief burst of technicolor commitment. Big Tech Company is thrilled to announce our daring new Pride Month initiative. We're not launching a new diversity program, or making a significant donation to an LGBTQIA+ charity - oh no, we're going one better. We're changing our logo color.

For most of the year, we're your standard, straight-laced tech giant. But when the calendar hits June, we hit CTRL+ALT+Pride, and voila, we morph into the Biggest, Queerest Tech Company - at least, on our social media accounts.

We stand in solidarity with the LGBTQIA+ community and recognize the sacrifices made by those who fought for equality. Curiously enough, we've noticed a 5% boost in profits every time we wave our digital rainbow flag. What an unexpected and totally coincidental financial windfall!

Big Tech Company believes that Pride Month is a time for action. That’s why we’ve launched the ambitious and strenuous task of right-clicking our logo, selecting a rainbow gradient, and hitting 'Save'. Yes, even in the pursuit of profit, we can still spare a few clicks for a cause.

Even our AI-powered dissent-crushing robots, serving as pillars of police militarization and surveillance, arrive emblazoned with our rainbow logo during the month of June. This proud insignia transforms each emotionless enforcement machine into a vibrant token of our commitment to the LGBTQIA+ community.

The Pride flag, a beacon of freedom and love, adorns our social media accounts, momentarily highlighting our commitment to diversity (except in regions where diversity is... well, less popular).

Why fly a literal flag when you can make an ephemeral profile picture change that is equally symbolic, and significantly cheaper? Picture it: each pixel, a miniature flag, each flag, a minimal effort. It's only for 720 hours, but the rainbow spectacle is enough to fill our Diversity and Inclusion quota for the entire year.

Indeed, nothing underscores 'diversity and inclusion' quite like making our unsuspecting LGBTQIA+ employees the poster children of Pride Month. As we parade them around like mascots, their personal choice in the matter is conveniently set aside. Yet, when accusations of corporate wokeness loom, you'll find us quicker to backpedal than offer them the support they deserve.

In the vast arena of justice and equality, everyone has a role. Ours? We've turned our logo into a digital doodle that’s as temporary as it is vibrant. Now, for the remaining eleven months, we can retire our rainbow cape, secure in the knowledge that we did our bit. And what a bit it was.

So, to the LGBTQIA+ community - you’re welcome. We’ve dutifully performed our corporate gymnastics to bring you this small, inconsequential logo change. Now, please excuse us as we revert to our standard programming. And remember: love is love, but business is business.
